Applying to Camp
If you have already applied, please check your email, as acceptance letters will be sent out after May 1st, 2026. If you have any other questions or concerns, please email mgavelovska@sacjef.org.
The 2026 camp dates will be: Week One, July 20 - 25; Week Two, July 27-August 1.
The camp is open to young musicians, between the ages of 12 and 20, who play:
- Any instrument! We focus on Traditional Jazz, and have historically accepted only the typical jazz instruments. This year, we have decided that any instrumentalist can learn to improvise and play jazz, and so we are happy to welcome you whatever your instrument of choice is. Of course, we also accept vocalists.
We are limited to a total of 81 campers per week. Preference is given to campers who are sponsored by their local jazz society, or by a donor.

Tell your friends, and remember to apply as soon as you can, to ensure that you can attend!
Applications open on January 15th, close on April 15th and notification of acceptance, including an invitation to complete registration will be sent on or before May 1st.
